Young female music artists
The second we think Beyoncé has done it all, she proves us wrong. In her recent cover story interview with Elle magazine, the singer, actress, designer, and businesswoman explains the launch of her own music label with her company Parkwood Entertainment, and reveals her first recruits. They include YouTube sensation Chloe x Halle, rising rapper Ingrid, and singer Sophie Beem.
Aside from the amazing opportunity to work with Bey herself, these young female artists were also featured in the magazine.
Beyoncé gave both a humbling and empowering response about what she thinks of her new venture: "It’s exciting, but having the power to make every final decision and being accountable for them is definitely a burden and a blessing, " she told Elle. "To me, power is making things happen without asking for permission. It’s affecting the way people perceive themselves and the world around them. It’s making people stand up with pride.”
At the end of the day, her goal is to share everything that she knows with these artists and transform them to be the best they can be. "I want to take all my resources and give these artists the support of the best, to nurture them and allow they to be who they really are, " she explained.
We can't wait to see her run the world with these ladies!
